MOR PAENG: THE EXPERIENCE
Mor Paeng Waterfall is located west of the wonderful town of Pai and is surrounded by beautiful Thai jungle. Coming from Bali, this was the first waterfall we had visited.Once reaching the car park we were ready to pay our parking and entrance fee only to realize there were no fees! were not in Bali anymore, Toto. A short 200m walk to the falls took less that 10 minutes from the parking area.
Mor Paeng has three levels, the second level being most popular for swimming and hanging around on the surrounding boulders. The first isn’t very accessible by foot and the third was a little too rocky and shallow to take a swim. When we arrived there were people sliding from the first level down into the second, we almost got in until we felt how freezing cold the water is! On a hot day I’m sure it would’ve been divine. We decided to sit around and take in its beauty instead.
