MELASTI BEACH: THE EXPERIENCE
Melasti is definitely a sight for sore eyes. It is the prettiest/most quiet beach we’ve visited Bali thus far. Everything a beautiful beach should be – not too many humans, soft and clear sand, crystal clear water… Heaven?. If you’re in Bali and want a beach day we would highly recommend heading to Uluwatu to experience the best.
The bluest water and brightest beach that we saw along Bali’s coast. Melasti Beach also has many different layered view points from the cliffs and dunes. The sights alongside the tall limestone cliffs make you want to sit and take it all in.
Our driver dropped us off at the top and said we can walk down.. only to realize halfway down he could’ve driven us down along the cliff. So make sure you drive down to save yourself a pretty steep walk and and easy access to the beach! When we went there was some construction going on around the place (AKA becoming a tourist trap) so now would be the best time go before its finished. Above the beach, we came across a beautiful traditional Balinese gate that had photo shoot written all over it.
Out the beaches we got to see in Uluwatu, Melasti was definitely our fave. We will be back!
