AGIA ANNA BEACH: THE EXPERIENCE
Agia Anna is where we were situated for our short time in Naxos. It was definitely a convenient location, just a street back from the beach, a supermarket, cafes and restaurants. All within a 5 minute walk! Agia Anna beach was so beautiful. Nice soft sand, clear, turquoise water, yummy restaurants right on the beach that we’re really reasonably priced. Every time we went, it was a pleasant experience.
The beach of Agia Anna really reminded me of Hyams Beach. Whenever a wave would form there would be a few moment before it crashed down that you could see straight through the wave wall and the turquoise colour would glow.
The best place to eat was Sto Kyma. The first time we went it was for lunch and had their moussaka and souvlaki. Then we came back twice and had the yummiest Gyros for just 2.50€. Cheap and delicious, we love that! We spent our last day in Naxos really enjoying the beach. Most sun beds on the beach are free with purchase from the cafes and restaurants. Most of them have nice cushioned mattress’ for ultimate comfort.
